In-Person Visits

I love opportunities to come speak to your public library, school or school library, book club or public event! I have a variety of programs geared to all ages.

Liza and Libby Adventures Trilogy: These books resonate with readers of all ages. Contact me or my Publisher with your ideas and needs because I have programs prepared for all ages including special readings of portions of the chapter books to pre-K, K, grades 1, 2, 3, 4.

With younger early reading age groups, I interact with the classes in a variety of ways. I go over the themes of hard work, taking care of an animal, being in the wilderness with an animal, talking about pets and farm animals, what happens when you are scared and more.

Older students and I do writing workshops together.

I enjoy speaking with adults, especially horse-loving audiences where we share time together discussing being an author, owning a horse, how to write, and how I get my ideas for my many books. Let me know what you need!

All books are available for special prices for larger orders and I encourage pre-sales to reduce or eliminate shipping costs. Digital images / fliers are prepared for you to send out to your group/school so little to no work is required before my visit.

Horse camp visits are lots of fun. Everyone loves to hear about the horse book trilogy and I love to hear about their horses and why they are so loved!

Emma books for children: For pre-K, K, grade 1, 2, 3 and 4, I have a dynamic interactive program where I read to the children and engage with them to think about the lovely topics in the book. Nature, being outside, getting chores done, living on a small farm – these are some of the many wonderful themes in the Emma books. And, of course, we have fun talking about taking a walk into the woods. 🥰

I work with schools, libraries, home school programs and special event days. Please reach out to me or to my Publisher and let’s organize a visit. Pre-selling opportunities for the books and gift items are offered at reduced prices for large group purchases.

My visits are visually and intellectually stimulating. We learn new words together like “Sansevieria” (the name of a plant in one of the illustrations in book one of “The Emma’s Adventure Stories” series of books) and what a “Sorrel” colored horse is.

Prices/fees for In-Person Visits: I set my own rates and am able to work with you directly to meet your expectations and your budget. Prices range from $250-$750+ for a visit. I’m certain I can meet your needs so please contact me to discuss. Don’t be shy.
